The Watermark Hotel stands today as the oldest skyscraper in Baton Rouge – a living piece of history revitalized for a new century by Wampold Companies. Originally home to Louisiana National Bank in 1925, the building was purchased by Mike Wampold in 2014 and transformed into the Watermark, a luxury hotel in downtown Baton Rouge boasting 144 guest rooms, 1,700 square feet of meeting space and timeless architecture and interiors. The Watermark Hotel is also home to The Gregory and Milford’s on Third, two of the downtown area’s top restaurants.
