Ted R. Terrell
Ted joined Wampold Companies in March 1993 to oversee all capital repairs, maintenance, renovation and construction activities. Ted now serves as President. In this capacity, he assists in the development of new ventures and coordinates the construction of all capital improvements on new and existing properties. Ted has served in various capacities within the company during the past fifteen years and recently completed the company's most challenging project, The Crescent at University Lake, a 162-unit luxury condominium community. Currently, Ted is managing the construction of II City Plaza, a 12-story high-rise, mixed-use development providing downtown Baton Rouge with over 250,000 square feet of Class A office space and an adjoining parking garage. These projects are preceded by the CB&I Plaza building on Essen Lane which serves as the global corporate headquarters for CB&I, formerly The Shaw Group. These projects account for over $210 million dollars.
Ted has completed the renovation of over 3,000 apartment homes with an estimated capital outlay exceeding $56 million dollars. Some of his accomplishments with condo-conversions include Park Oaks and Jefferson Hills of Baton Rouge as well as Carriage Quarters at Green Acres Place of Bossier City representing a combined 372 units and $32 million dollars. Ted assists in the due diligence of potential acquisitions by assessing the quality of construction and the capital repair requirements of each project.
Prior to association with Wampold Companies, he was Vice-President of Big River Construction, a company specializing in multi-family renovations throughout the United States. Ted is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor's degree in Construction. He holds a Louisiana State Contractors License and is a member of the Capital Region Builders Association.
